Mentoring to Medicine, 100 Black Men of Metropolitan Houston’s latest service effort, was held in partnership with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine. The event allowed participating 6th -12th graders to learn about the academic path needed for a career in medicine by speaking directly with current medical professionals about their career experiences. Attendees included coordinator Dr. Justin Washington, Melanie Washington, Jey’Lee Williams, Karen Bryant, Eric Williams, Breia Williams, Blake & Cole Walker, Nelson Guity, Dr. Serge Madhere, Juan Wyms, Ferrel Bonner, Dr. Julian Pollard-Larkin, Chloe Dorsey and many more.
