The National MS Society recently hosted its 35th Annual BP MS 150, a bike ride fundraiser, that saw nearly 10,000 cyclists on 415 registered teams ride from Houston to Austin with an overnight stay in La Grange. Total mileage for the cyclists was 140-170 miles, while the projected funds raised were nearly $14 million. MS is a progressive neurological disorder, and an unpredictable and disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Participants in this year’s ride included Joseph Ledet, David Hubbard, Defender Engagement Manager Margo Williams Hubbard, the Ridin’ Dirty Bike Club and many more. Ride funds benefit people who live with MS like Houston Chef Jeff Lewis.
