Harris County Aquatic Center recently hosted its annual Splashdown Swim Competition where all of the developmental swim sites in the county come together for a fun-filled day of competition in multiple swim events. Youth who trained hard all summer long in swim classes all across the county used Splashdown as the opportunity to show off their skills to parents and other supporters. Attendees included event organizer John Beaudion, legendary swimming coach Johnnie Means, HISD Board President Rhonda Skillern-Jones, Ana Yanez Correa, Brandon Dudley, Henry Hutchins, Amari Walker, Hannah Gibson, Jameica, Tyrone & Ava Washington, Christall Harper, Kevin Murcia and several others.
