Matt Rogers, a highly decorated 30-year veteran of the Houston Fire Department, celebrated his retirement recently at the Power Center. Matt’s wife Angela Rogers coordinated the beautiful affair that included a lavish buffet spread, music, video presentations and friendly words of remembrance and appreciation from friends and colleagues in attendance, including Dr. John Rudley, Dr. Docia Rudley, Pastor Manson Johnson, Corey Hall, Jillian Hall, Tamela Capers, Lessie Parks, Marie Lewis, Jodie Jiles, Defender CEO Sonny Messiah Jiles, Estella West, Rodney West and several others.
