Houston’s 97.9 The Box, Majic 102.1 and 92.1 Radio One hosted their inaugural “Opportunity Expo” (Opp Ex) career development and recruitment fair to meet the needs of Houston employers and job seekers. Held at the George R. Brown Convention Center, the fair included panel discussions, intimate workshops and networking sessions. Attendees heard from business executives, local officials and career coaches offering solutions and guidance on topics such as: entrepreneurship; managing your digital brand; pursuing careers in the music industry; navigating employment with a criminal record; and more.
