In celebration of its 48th anniversary SHAPE Community Center recently held its African Ball at the Ensemble Theatre. The event, which featured a silent auction, sought to raise money to support the center’s ongoing programs that benefit youth, seniors and families. Attendees included SHAPE Director Deloyd Parker, Executive Board Member Nedzra Ward, Minister Abdul (Robert) Muhammad, L.J. Garfield, Zoe Jackson-Jarra, Jasmine Faulk, Whitney Moore, Tenebit Muluneh, Adane Tadesse, Maia Shelby and others.
