AIDS Foundation Houston, together with event chairs Ernie Manouse and Bill Baldwin, hosted the annual World AIDS Day Luncheon, sponsored by Chevron, on at the Hilton Houston Post Oak. The sold-out event drew over 500 guests who supported AIDS Foundation Houston’s goal of “Getting to Zero”, zero new infections, zero AIDS-related deaths and zero stigma. Author and longtime HIV activist Sean Strub was the keynote speaker. Joni Baird from Chevron presented AIDS Foundation Houston’s Shelby Hodge Vision Award to Houston Methodist Research Institute and the Department of Nanomedicine. Alessandro Grattoni, PhD was also honored. In attendance were Bill Baldwin, Ernie Manouse, Sean Strub, Alessandro Grattoni, PhD, Kelly Young; Melody Patelis, Mayor Sylvester Turner and many more.
