Kanye West ‘Sunday Service’ as his trademark request is denied

  • Fresh of his Sunday Service sermon in Kingston, Jamaica, Kanye’s running into trouble trademarking his infamous Sunday praise and worship sessions.According to a report obtained by The Blast, an event planning company already trademarked ‘Sunday Service’ in 2014. The US Patent and Trademark office refused Kanye’s request on October 16 to avoid any confusion. Despite this, Ye, who filed the trademark back in July, may be able to contest the decision considering he’s already sold merchandise to promote his Sunday Service.  Along with his alleged plans to spread his Sunday Service across the globe, Kanye also announced that his ‘Jesus Is King’ album will finally drop this week on October 25. Off the heels of this news, Kanye’s pastor, Adam Tyson, revealed on a podcast that Ye was considering quitting rap music because he thought it was “the devil’s music.”
