The families of the women who have been living with R. Kelly have been persistently trying to save their daughters from his alleged “sex cult.” Now that he is being investigated, the FBI is asking that the parents put a halt on their efforts to bring their daughters home. Joycelyn Savage’s parents, Tim and Jonjelyn, have been asked to not request for anymore welfare checks at R. Kelly’s Chicago home where Joycelyn lives because it may interfere with their investigation, TMZ reports.

Kelly is allegedly “agitated” since being arrested and charged with 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse. The feds are reportedly worried that another welfare check may scare the women and meddle with their plan to interview them in the future for their investigation.

Savage and the other woman who lives with Kelly, Azriel Clary, were last seen at Kelly’s bail hearing last week.  Savage denies that she is being held against her will, however her parents believe she has been brainwashed by Kelly. They haven’t spoken to their daughter in a few years, which they revealed in the Surviving R. Kelly Lifetime docu-series. The Savages are adhering to the request of the feds and are not going to travel to Chicago from Georgia as planned for another welfare check. Their last welfare check was in January.
