Bowlmor Houston was the sight of George Springer’s 4th Annual All-Star Bowling Benefit with proceeds helping to send children from families in need to Camp SAY, a summer camp for young people who stutter. Taro Alexander, founder of SAY (The Stuttering Association for the Young) was on hand with event chairs Dr. Carolyn Farb, Lara Bell and Melissa Deayala to welcome celebrity bowlers and fans alike. Over 70 million people stutter on a daily basis, including 5 percent of all children. Attendees included Springer’s wife Charlise Castro, Laura and George Springer II (parents), Chester Pitts (former Texan), Chita Craft (KHOU), Dan Pastorini (former Oiler), Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (NBA), Tony Sipp (Astros), Kasey Sipp, Kim Padgett, Max Edision (Defender), Amber Elliott (Hou Chronicle) and scores more.
