Tracy Sanders, author of “Natural Hair in the Workplace,” served as featured speaker for the session Natural Hair & the Law. Held at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, the event enlightened participants with an overview of federal and state employment discrimination laws in the U.S. and employee/employer rights and obligations related to natural hair. Sanders added real-life examples which brought the topic alive to the energetic audience.
