In honor of the outstanding achievements of Unsung Heroes in the African American community, Ford Motor Company is launching a search for Unsung Heroes in the Greater Houston Area.
The special edition of Ford Freedom Unsung will recognize the many heroic and selfless acts performed during Hurricane Harvey, and will honor and celebrate local individuals who went above and beyond to support the community during a difficult time.
Pamela Alexander, director of Community Development, Ford Motor Company Fund, recently joined local leaders to launch the unsung program.
“Houstonians truly came together to support their community during and after Harvey and we are proud to celebrate their selfless actions,” she said.
