On Wednesday, July 25th, the ribbon cutting celebration of a brand new gym at the Stafford Boys & Girls

Club took place. Fort Bend County constructed the gym, and Finish Line Foundation donated the funds for the equipment and furnishings. Many Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, Finish Line, and Fort Bend County staff members were present, including Kevin Hattery, President & CEO of BGCGH; Grady Prestage, Fort Bend County Precinct 2 Commissioner; Carlos Ortiz, Senior District Sales Manager at Finish Line; James Patterson, Fort Bend County Precinct 4 Commissioner; Robert Hebert, Fort Bend County Judge; State Representative Ron Reynolds; and Mike Kuznar, a member of the BGCGH Board of Directors and Chair of the Fort Bend County Community Council. Stafford Club members also participated in this celebration.

The Stafford Boys & Girls Club has been a part of the community since 2002. Over 1,075 members attend the Club annually to receive high-quality programming. The Club was in need of a new gym to give youth and teens more space to participate in organized sports programs, exercise and team-building activities.

“The Stafford Gym will keep our Club members healthy and active, while building their character.
