Are you someone who is making a difference in your community? If so, here is an opportunity for you to showcase your work.

AT&T Dream in Black returns for its fifth anniversary celebrating Black dreamers authentically contributing to the culture and they are looking to select participants who are uplifting their communities.

A total of 15 dreamers will be highlighted and featured at events and activations across the nation during Black History Month, and AT&T will use the campaign to invite contestants to share their own Dream in Black declaration for a chance to win cash prizes, a new Samsung S23 and the opportunity to create social media content with one of this year’s celebrity Black Future Makers.

“We’re trying something new this year. In hopes of making a more significant impact, we’re offering four $25K prizes for our Black Future Maker contest winners, updated from last year’s $10K prize,” said Michelle Jordan, AT&T’s chief diversity officer. “This money, a total of $100K, will go to everyday leaders on pace to making real economic impact in their communities through their areas of interest. We know that when people have access – to education, economic empowerment, and an inclusive workplace environment – the door to opportunity opens.”

This year’s theme is the “New Black Renaissance,” and it will also honor celebrities who have been recognized through the program since its inception in 2018. This year’s class will include model and entrepreneur Lori Harvey, artist Big Sean, actors Alphonse Nicholson and Shangela.

Here is how to enter:

Rules: Participants can write and share how they’re a Black Future Maker via the contest page. Submissions are open today through the month of February. Black Future Makers will select winners who exemplify the values of the Dream in Black program – pushing the culture forward and uplifting their communities. Winners will be announced in March on AT&T’s Instagram and Tik Tok pages.
