Every month, the Defender Game Changers celebrates exceptional women who are driving innovation, inclusion and excellence across industries. In September, we highlight three dynamic leaders: Zsquaez Jordan in finance, Angelica Renee in tech and Precious Azurée in coaching and communications.
These trailblazers embody empowerment, ingenuity and resilience.
Zsquaez Jordan

Vice President, Senior Business Relationship Manager, Chase Bank
With more than two decades of experience in the financial sector, Zsquaez Jordan has made it her mission to close the gap between financial institutions and diverse entrepreneurs. As vice president and senior business relationship manager at Chase Bank, she coaches business owners on how to strengthen their operations, build sustainable models and access capital.
The Texas Southern University graduate said her work is personal.
“I have the privilege today to work as a senior business consultant. That is actually the greatest job I’ve ever had in my entire life,” Jordan said. “The bank recognized there was a deficit in our community … so we were put on the ground to do workshops and offer executive coaching. That’s how we make sure the information reaches us.”
Her impact is evident: Clients under her guidance have doubled revenues, streamlined operations and created new income streams. Jordan is also the recipient of the 2025 National Diversity and Leadership Award, recognized for her commitment to equity and philanthropy.
Angelica Renee

Founder, A Couture Collective
Known widely as “our fave Black Girl in Tech,” Angelica Renee has built a career spanning more than 18 years in the technology sector, working with major companies including IBM, Verizon, T-Mobile, Google and Motorola. Today, she leads A Couture Collective, a platform that educates, connects and uplifts entrepreneurs while offering tools to navigate the fast-changing digital landscape.
Her focus is on generative and agentic AI, where she sees opportunity for small-business owners and professionals.
“AI is here to stay and it’s already reshaping our lives and businesses,” Renee said. “It’s time to pivot — quickly.”
Through her workshops and blog, Renee emphasizes three pillars: education, culture and community. By mentoring entrepreneurs and championing innovation, she ensures that Black and brown founders have the tools to thrive in an evolving economy.
Precious Azurée

Author, Consultant and The Clarity Coach
A Houston native, Precious Azurée has earned a reputation as “The Clarity Coach” for her ability to help organizations cut through noise and scale with purpose. She is a sought-after author, speaker and consultant whose clients include entrepreneurs, small businesses and nonprofits.
Her work is grounded in both faith and strategy.
“Everything starts with your beliefs,” Azurée said. “Whatever you believe about God, about yourself, about people — that will drive all of your decisions. It’s important to be anchored before deciding your vision, your goals and how you spend your time and money.”
Backed by an Applied Generative AI specialization from Purdue University and credentials as a John Maxwell Leadership Trainer, she merges technology, coaching and leadership development. Azurée also co-founded MEASURE, an award-winning Black woman-led nonprofit that advances data equity in public policy. Her debut book, The Faith Focus Formula, helps readers align faith, vision, finances and time to build businesses rooted in resilience and hope.
