Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested in New York City following a grand jury indictment, with charges yet to be disclosed. His lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, called the prosecution “unjust,” emphasizing Combs’ legacy as a music icon, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, and his cooperation with the investigation.

The arrest comes amid multiple legal issues, including a recent sexual assault lawsuit from former bandmate Dawn Richard, who accuses Combs of battery and withholding wages. This is the eighth legal case against Combs, following a previous lawsuit by ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and claims from other women.

Combs was also sued by producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, alleging harassment and trafficking. In March, federal agents raided his homes, and in May, a 2016 video surfaced showing him physically abusing Ventura, to which Combs later apologized. Ventura shared that the abuse left lasting emotional damage.
