It seems like since Donald Trump won the presidential nomination and is returning to the White House, we are finding out how people and businesses we thought we knew really feel.

Companies and businesses that we, as Black people support have come out in support of the Conservative Project 2025 playbook that seeks to eliminate government offices like the Department of Education, and stores that attract millions of Black and Brown patrons like Walmart have said they will roll back their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) policies.

What can we do to curb these actions before the mid-term elections?

But it can’t stop there.

Black people must become more conscious of whom they spend their dollars. It’s time to stop investing in companies and businesses that work against our best interests.
