Donald Trump was inauguarted for a second time as president. And we knew it was going to feel like a gut punch.
But boy did we underestimate the impact of the blow.
Trump blasted Joe Biden and his administration right in his face after the outgoing president and the former president did the right thing and attended the inauguration. Four years earlier, Trump left town before Biden could be inaugurated.
But that was far from it as Trump continued with his campaign promises of mass deportation of immigrants, pardoning the terrorists who committed unthinkable and violent acts four years ago in the very place Trump delivered Monday’s inauguration speech — the Capitol Rotunda. Not to mention the odd Black preacher who seemed to impersonate Rev. Martin Luther King on the day shared with MLK Day.
Then there was Elon Musk and his odd Nazi-like salute.
There was plenty to be pissed off about. What pissed you off the most about the inauguration? The antics of Monday certainly got members of the Defender Roundtable panel fired up.
