To most of us, being young, Black and Republican seems to be an exercise in working against one’s own best interest.

However, a small minority strongly disagrees.

While the majority of Black people have overwhelmingly supported the Democratic Party, some young Black people have parted ways in favor of Donald Trump and the Republican Party on critical issues like abortion, laws that allow boys to participate in girls’ sports and immigration.

It’s not an easy position to choose, but some are willing to stand strong while being young, Black and Republican.
