The author speaks..

What do you want readers to take away?

Since this is Christian fiction, the major theme is relying on our faith to get us through challenging times. Leaning on our faith and focusing on forgiveness are a few take-aways.

Why do you write?

I’ve been an avid reader since I was young (Judy Bloom, V.C. Andrews, etc.) I knew that I wanted to learn the craft of telling stories. I took a journalism course in college. A few years ago I told myself that I would begin a career as a writer.

Do you have a day job?

I’m an Accountant with the Federal Government, yes, a bean counter.

What’s your dream job?

Writing fiction, full-time and writing for a travel magazine or blog. So I’d say, “Writing”.

Where would you like to be professionally in 5 years?

Professionally, I’d like to have five novels published. I hope to lead other through management in the federal government.

What would people be shocked to know is on your playlist?

I’ll say ‘Knock Some Boots’ from back in the day.
