In Donna Brazile’s new memoir, the former interim Democratic National Committee chair said that Hillary Clinton effectively took over the DNC during the 2016 presidential campaign and “rigged” the primaries against Bernie Sanders.

Brazile said the DNC went broke during Obama’s presidency and was being sustained by Clinton’s campaign alone.

On Fox and Friends, guest Kevin Jackson felt it was necessary to bring up that Obama was black during his time on air. He racial comments came after his co-host Abby Huntsman said her biggest question over the topic was how the DNC lost so much money and accrued debt under President Obama.

“Sad part about that is Barack Obama was supposed to be a rock star,” Jackson said. “Here is this guy, sadly to say, the black man leaves them with no money.”

After laughing at his own remarks, he went on to say, “And I know that a lot of people are going to be offended by that but that was the guy that was supposed to save the party.”

The third co-host, Pete Hegeseth didn’t respond to the comments about Obama’s race but did say, “Hillary Clinton supposed to win through a rigged system,” to which Huntsman responded, “we will talk about this all morning long.” Then they changed the subject.

Jackson is a black conservative commentator who has a long history of making controversial comments about Obama and race. In April he stated that a black shooter who killed white men was the “legacy of Obama.” Then there was the time he appeared on Sean Hannity’s program in 2015 and said activist DeRay McKesson is a “race pimp.”

Below is the full airing of that show. The aforementioned segment starts at the 10:00 minute mark.
