It looks like singer and Oscar-nominated actress Mary J. Blige has reached the light at the end of the tunnel in what has been a long and drawn out battle between her and her ex-husband Kendu Isaacs.
According to The Blast, Blige and Isaacs have secretly reached a settlement in their divorce. The former couple were able to come to an agreement this past Friday, just before Oscar weekend. The two were set to appear in court today but the hearing had been moved off of the calendar.
Blige first filed for divorce in July of 2016, after twelve years of marriage. From the moment she filed documents, Blige requested that a judge prevent Isaacs from seeking spousal support.
The motion was obviously ignored because Isaacs went on to request not only spousal support for himself but also child support for the three children, from previous relationships, Isaacs brought into their marriage.
The terms of their agreement have yet to be disclosed.
