Robert Townsend, Leon Robinson hosted the Celebrity Gala Fundraiser at Silver Street Studios. Celebrity question and answer sessions engaged guests. There was also a silent auction and a cultural art exhibition. The gala served as a fundraiser to benefit the non-profit projects of “Go Blue For Water”, “Casa de Angola of Houston and the “Ethiopian Community Organization of Houston”, all 501c3 entities. In attendance were State Representative Jarvis Johnson, Wea H. Lee, Tiffany Burks, Kathryn Griffin-Grinan, Kijana Wiseman, Joseph Douglas, Cecile Mengue, Shavonda Harris, James Harris, Sheila Y. Coleman, David Guillory, Dr. Denise Adjei and many more.
