Beyoncé is the highest paid woman in music

Beyoncé  has been crowned as the highest paid woman in music, according to Forbes. Yonce’ reportedly made $105 million before taxes between June 2016 and June 2017.

Bey’s “Formation Tour” grossed $210 million in ticket sales last year, which helped land her in the no. 1 spot, along with Lemonade sales of course.

Adele comes in at the no. 2 spot with pretax earning of $69 million while Taylor Swift came in at no. 3 with $44 million. Swift was in the top spot last year when she raked in $170 million. Celine Dion’s Las Vegas residency helped to put her at the no. 4 slot while Jennifer Lopez rounded out the top five with $38 million.

The cash will continue to roll in for the “Hold Up” singer in 2018 when she begins voicing “Nala” in The Lion King remake on Broadway.
