Saturday, I traveled to Houston’s Children’s Museum as Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and others paid homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.  The event was filled with information on the impact Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. had on the world today.  Children enjoyed songs, dances, and various coloring stations that highlighted his famous I have a dream speech.  During the event Rev. Dr. Polly Sparks Turner was awarded the winner of this year’s Caryakid Award.
