Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector & Voter Registrar Ann Harris Bennett announced today that nearly 1 million property tax bills are in the mail and on their way to Harris County property owners.
Taxpayers should review their bills carefully to ensure the proper exemptions have been applied. If an exemption has not been correctly applied, please contact the Harris County Appraisal District at 713- 957-7800. If your bill has not arrived by November’s end, please check the Harris County Tax Office website, www.hctax.net, to confirm if the Harris County Appraisal District has certified your property’s value.
