At 11 a.m. (Thursday, June 29), Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo and representatives from Yellow Cab will join to kick off the “Choose Your Ride” campaign.
The news conference will be held in front of the HPD Edward A. Thomas Building at 1200 Travis.
The “Choose Your Ride” campaign is a program designed to promote the idea of planning safe rides home before attending events where alcohol will be served.
Following the news conference, there will be a photo opportunity with the “Choose Your Ride” vehicle parked in front of 1200 Travis.
