The Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated Houston Chapter Associates kicked off the 2016 Debutante Season by hosting its biennial debutante luncheon at Hotel ZaZa on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11am.
For over 32 years, the Associates have hosted the Debutantes’ Luncheon, which signals the beginning of the Debutante Season. This signature luncheon allows the debutantes and their mothers to begin the activities ahead of the 2016-2017 Ball which will be held on January 1, 2017 at Hilton Americas.
The room was filled with a sea of red attire as we celebrated 31 beautiful debutantes and their mothers. The luncheon was a sell-out event with a record attendance of 430! Amanda Edwards, Houston City Council Member At-Large 4, was the Mistress of Ceremony and our distinguished guest.
Many Regional and National Jack and Jill officers were in attendance as well. Post Debutantes were acknowledged and were featured in a fashion show titled “It’s All About the DEBS”.
