Lone Star College will host a series of free career fairs to help those looking for employment, or begin a new career. These events are hosted by Lone Star College Office of Workforce Education and Corporate Partnerships.
“People look to Lone Star College to not only help them get trained, but get hired,” said Dr. Stephen C. Head, LSC chancellor. “These job fairs provide a wide variety of employment opportunities in many exciting fields.”
The LSC Technical Careers & Skilled Trades job fair will take place Tuesday, Oct. 11, from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the LSC-North Harris Student Services Center. Representatives from the energy, manufacturing, automotive technologies, H-VAC&R and transportation industries will be present to speak about opportunities at their respective companies.
The LSC Professional Careers & Administrative Services will take place Tuesday, Oct. 18, from 3:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the LSC-CyFair College Center. Job seekers can meet with representatives in business management, Cisco, accounting, networking, logistics and paralegal careers.
Employers will be on hand to discuss specific employment opportunities within their organizations, benefits, job requirements, skills being sought, prerequisites and more. Attending these events is a great way for job seekers to hone their job interview skills in a friendly environment.
