Funeral services have been arranged for the late 18th District Congressman and former Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. He died last week at 70.
Turner was in Washington, D.C. and had attended President Donald Trumpโs joint address to Congress. He died later that night after being treated at a hospital.
On March 7, Turner was brought home from Washington, D.C., to Acres Homes in Houston, the neighborhood where he grew up.

Houston City Hall
Turner will lie in state at the Houston City Hall, which will be open for all residents.

Austin
Turner will lie in honor at the Texas State Capitol in Austin.
Location: 1100 Congress Ave., Rotunda
Date: March 13 at noon until March 14 at noon
The Church Without Walls
His funeral will be held in his church, The Church Without Walls.
