Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham, 27, has been formally charged with felony battery for allegedly punching a hotel worker in July.

The NFL star was arrested in Miami on July 25 after officials say he got violent with a Hilton Bentley worker who was setting up a beach umbrella for his crew.

Officials say Bradham punched the worker in the face because he was taking too long, according to TMZ. Someone in Bradhamโ€™s group allegedly smashed the worker over the head with a glass bottle.

The Miami State Attorneyโ€™s Office says Bradham has been formally charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm, a second-degree felony.

Bradham has pled not guilty. If heโ€™s convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison. The trial is set for January.
