I canโ€™t lieโ€”just the idea of this has me fired up.

Dexter Lawrence in a Texans uniform? Next to Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter? Thatโ€™s not just a defensive lineโ€”thatโ€™s a problem for the entire league.

Weโ€™re talking about a 345-pound force who, not too long ago, was wrecking offenses and racking up sacks like it was routine. Yeah, 2025 wasnโ€™t his best year, but you put him in Houston, in this system, with that edge pressure? Manโ€ฆ thatโ€™s scary.

And hereโ€™s the wild partโ€”this isnโ€™t some fantasy trade cooked up on Twitter. Itโ€™s actually being talked about. The Texans could make a real move for a proven All-Pro instead of rolling the dice in the draft. Thatโ€™s a different level of urgency. Thatโ€™s a team saying, โ€œWeโ€™re ready right now.โ€

But letโ€™s be realโ€”itโ€™s gonna cost. A first-round pick, a second-round pick, and then you still gotta pay him? Thatโ€™s a heavy bet. Especially for a team thatโ€™s been building through the draft.

Stillโ€ฆ imagine it.

Houstonโ€™s defense goes from dangerous to downright dominant overnight. The kind of unit that doesnโ€™t just win gamesโ€”it takes them over.

It might not happen. It probably shouldnโ€™t on paper.

But with Nick Caserio? Draft night?

Yeahโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not ruling anything out.
