Higher Dimension Church in Houston is on a mission to empower its community this April with a comprehensive financial literacy program and put some cash in your pockets to pay your bills.
Their initiative, “30 Days To Financial Prosperity,” offers a unique blend of financial guidance and faith-based principles to equip families with the tools they need to achieve financial well-being.
Throughout April, the church will host a diverse lineup of financial experts during its Sunday services. These experts will tackle essential topics like budgeting, saving, investing, managing debt, understanding taxes, and building generational wealth. This weekly series provides a valuable opportunity for attendees to gain practical knowledge on various financial matters.
Higher Dimension Church goes beyond mere lectures. The program provides free resources and guidance before and after services, partnering with local businesses and organizations to offer additional support. This collaborative approach ensures attendees have access to a network of resources to further their financial education.
“We are partnering with Liberty Bank, and they are doing a $1,000 giveaway,” said Pastor Terrance H. Johnson of Higher Dimension Church. “We have Christopher Bush [insurance professional] and Sharita Humphrey [award-winning financial education instructor], who sponsored the event and have blessed so many families.”
An exciting element of the initiative is the church’s commitment to alleviate financial burdens directly. The Church will contribute $250-$500 each Sunday to pay a lucky attendee’s bill!
“We are putting envelopes underneath the seats and doing raffles as well. Those are some ways we are calling for winners,” Johnson said. “People are going through a lot of stress, and sometimes money is the problem. We want to do what we can to enrich their experience.”
The program culminates with a special bonus event on April 27 – “The Finance Workshop.” This workshop features Johnson alongside renowned financial expert, author and podcast host Anthony O’Neal.
O’Neal, a leading voice in financial education, will share his expertise on money management, smart investing, building financial literacy for families and strengthening businesses. Attendees will gain practical tools and valuable insights to guide their journey towards financial freedom.
“Wealth without wisdom is typically wasted. You may be in a financial hole, but you can get out,” Johnson said. “The whole idea is to reset the mind, learn, unlearn and relearn. You’ve got to manage your resources to the next level.”
