At the beginning of the month, Mary J. Blige filed financial documents as part of her divorce from Martin โ€˜Kenduโ€™ Isaacs.

The income and expense declaration was filed on August 8 in a Los Angeles court and revealed not only her monthly income but the fact that she owed the IRS millions of dollars in back taxes. The $6.5 million in back taxes covers what she owes from 2008 to 2016.

Blige, according to the documents, makes $326,930 a month. She has been ordered to give Isaacs $30,000 per month, which is lower than the $130,000 per month that he had asked for. However, that order is only temporary, and the proceedings are ongoing.

She also listed her monthly expenses, including $14,000 per month for her Los Angeles rental home and $2,340 for her two Mercedes-Benz cars. She reportedly still owns a mansion in โ€œNew Jersyโ€ that is on the market but has been boarded up and listed as โ€œun-rentable.โ€ It is apparently in a state of โ€œdisrepair.โ€

Isaacs is requesting that Blige pay most of his monthly spending, which tops out at around $116,000 per month. He also wants $10,000 per month to care for his parents and for his children, both of which are from a past relationship.

In response, according to TMZ, Blige said, โ€œI am not responsible for supporting his parents and his children from another relationship which he lists as ongoing monthly expenses.โ€
