Beyoncé’s internet is going crazy, as is Black Twitter, Black Instagram, Black TikTok, and even Black MySpace. The “One Who is to Always Be Named” recently announced her latest move toward maintaining global domination via her “2023 Renaissance World Tour.”
The news was first teased last October during WACO Theater’s Wearable Art Gala, but now it’s official. The announcement came via a photo of Queen Bey on her official Instagram page sitting atop the silver horse which has become semi-iconic, and which has been dubbed by Blackworld as “Reneigh”… because Blackfolk have to give everyone and everything a nickname.
Beyoncé will kick off the tour in Sweden this spring (May 10, Stockholm), and will make stops in London, Paris, Barcelona and Toronto before ending Sept. 27 in New Orleans.
Other US spots include Chicago, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and, of course, her hometown, Houston (Sept. 23, 2023).
Ticket sales will open on Monday, Feb. 6, with a presale to BeyHive members. And if you’re not a member, it’s not too late to register at her Live Nation website.
Fans seeking to purchase those tickets will need to register through their Verified Fan system.
Registering will also help concertgoers get their hands on tickets, and filter out buyers looking to resell tickets, according to Live Nation.
But besides the ticket sales info and logistics, what has people talking are the prices, which have been reported as being anywhere from $800 to several thousands of dollars for front row and VIP packages.
