Kenya Barris is ready to bring more laughs to the small screen.
The black-ish creator just sold a new project to ABC and it was given a straight-to-series order from the network.
Alec Baldwin has signed on to co-executive produce the untitled, multi-camera comedy series and Barris will serve as show runner alongside Grown-ish EP, Julie Bean.
According to reports, the project will showcase an outspoken, washed-up TV star who moves in with his lesbian daughter, her girlfriend, and their child.
The show premiered in 2014 and has received multiple awards nominations and wins. Tracee Ellis Ross earned a Golden Globe earlier this year for Best Actress. The show received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Comedy Series the past two years.
