The Partnership Tower served as the location for the Greater Houston Black Chamber’s 24th Annual Pinnacle Awards Nominee Reception. At the gathering, the Pinnacle and Upstart Award finalists and the 2018 GHBC Honorees were announced—Williard Jackson & Lisa Johnson (Ebony Magazine), Marcus Davis (TBK Foods), Donovan Casanave (Shell), Charlotte Kelly Bryant (Blue Triangle) and Gerald Womack (Womack Development). The Pinnacle Award is the most prestigious award that the GHBC bestows in honor of African-American entrepreneurs who not only have succeeded in business, but have positively impacted the communities and industries they serve. The actual 24th Annual Pinnacle Awards will be held on October 6. Reception attendees included and Deidre Mathis, Judson Robinson III, Jeffery Wallace, Ellis Hubbard, Fred Barksdale, Christopher & Fern Dawkins, Enjoli Williams, Kevin Cooper, Raynese Edwards, Carla Lane, Jami Bertrand and many others.
