The Blue Triangle Garden Club (BTGC) hosted the 56th Annual Christmas Tour of Homes, showcasing the decked halls of 3rd Ward-area homes, spreading holiday cheer and raising money for the Blue Triangle Community Center. BTGC President Bola Patrick said proceeds will go toward restoring the center’s John Biggers mural that was damaged during Hurricane Harvey. The festive décors, welcoming spirit of the homeowners, trolley-taxi service and treated of wassail and cookies added to the experience of attendees that included Renee Steward, Carolyn White, Melanie Flowers, Carol Sadler, Brenda King, Helen Gobert, Brandy Hare, Angela Conway, Susan Bynam, Paulette Eagleton, Blaire Roberts, Darvin Mayo, Elvena Mayo, Jaime Middleton Lawler and others.
