The Ayva Center played host to this year’s African & Caribbean Food Festival, an experience that showcased great food and music from Africa and the Diaspora. Countless countries from the African continent and the Caribbean were on full display as attendees adorned traditional and contemporary fashions, dancers and musicians showed off their skills, youth enjoyed the Kids’ Zone and Houston’s top Afro-Beats and Caribbean DJs kept the party going. Attendees included Ennie Aladejana, Lara Osinusi, Yenni Popo, Gina Jyneen, Kevin & Crystal Lister, Jamaan Holden, Nia Patterson, Imani Lowery, Breona Patterson and many more.
