Black Enterprise Magazine (BE) hosted its annual Entrepreneurs Summit, a three-day event tailored to both established business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs. Held at the Marriott Marquis Houston, the event featured local, national and international captains of industry sharing their insights during workshops, plenaries and one-on-one sessions. The summit was officially culminated with an awards dinner, though the next day BE sponsored ABC’s Shark Tank Diversity Tour Casting Call, looking for entrepreneurs of color willing and able to appear on the hit show.
