The Houston Museum of African American Culture (HMAAC) recently hosted Girls Night Out at the Museum, an evening of cocktails, karaoke, refreshments, giveaways, and a pop-up marketplace highlighting women-owned businesses. Attendees were encouraged to sip, shop and show out, and they did while also taking in the words of featured speaker Shemetre Richmond of Save Your Properties.
