The Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority (HAC) celebrated its 90th anniversary recently at the Power Center. Ninety community members were honored for their service in various capacities. Sunday, April 23 was declared Delta Sigma Theta Day in the City of Houston by mayoral proclamation. Attendees heard remarks from panelists and Councilman Dwight Boykins.  HAC President Dr. Pat Phipps was on hand as well as Anne Lundy, Tammie Lang, Dr. Carlotta Brown, Barbara Curtis, Audrey Gassama, Judge Hazel Jones, Karen Smith, Marlene Moore, TSU Police Chief Mary Moore, Metro Police Chief Vera Bumpers and many others.
