Houston Jerk Fest, held at Midtown Park, not only offered a jerk seasoning cook off competition, but also a concert featuring international Reggae artists Spragga Benz and Jahmiel, Soca artist T-Rock Again, and other regional live bands. Moreover, a vast array of food, arts & crafts vendors, food trucks and child-friendly activities created a positive time for entire families. Attendees included Jilian Larkin, Elle Synchronicity, Andrea Dunn, Vivia Beckford, Sandra Beckford, Patricia Wollastan, Odwyer Hampton, Alexa McIntosh, Rita Henry, Anju Gazader and many others.
