Jack and Jill of America, Inc. celebrated its 2018 Founder’s Day Program at the Houston Junior League. The event, entitled “BLING: Bold Leadership into the Next Generation,” was organized by the “Sensational South Central Region,” and celebrated the incredible legacy of Black mothers collaborating to provide programs and services for their children and others. Featured keynote speaker was the organization’s national president Joli Cooper Nelson. Attendees included Sharon Watkins Jones, Stephanie Vann, Andrea McHenry, Alaina Benford, LaKenya Collins, Consuella Guillory-Adams, Shannon Roland, Ronique Robinson, Defender writer/editor ReShonda Tate Billingsley, Carlecia Wright, Jessica Taylor and many more.
