The Imani School Dad’s Club participated in Super Hero Dads Read, where fathers dressed as super heroes read to pre-K thru 2 grade students. Seeing The Black Panther, Incredible Hulk, Thor, Luke Cage, Captain America and others enter classrooms and walk the halls excited not only students but teachers and administrators. The heroes not only read stories to students but shared valuable advice and life lessons. Imani School founder Patricia Williams welcomed participating heroes Darrell Pettway, Felix Chevalier, Jermaine Davis, Teeba Rose, Nehemiah Johnson, Cedrick Bates, Kenny Ozoude, Dallas Jones, Brian Jackson, Thaddeus Wordlaw, State Senator Borris Miles and more.
