This Woman’s Work recently held its inaugural IronWoman Brunch at the Norris Conference Center. The room bustled with over 80 women in attendance to hear from Vanessa E. Wyche, Deputy Director, NASA who’s leaving her legacy as a woman of history. This Woman’s Work Founder Carla Lane sat for an intimate conversation with the only African-American female Deputy Director in a male dominated field. The two discussed Wyche’s history making challenges, thriving in a work environment with limited female influence and more. Attendees included Trustee Wanda Adams, Kim Roxie, Vanessa Reed, Colleen Banks, Dorita Hatchett, Naomi Hardy, Martica Sherman and several others.
