Just prior to TSU’s Homecoming 2017, TSU’s President Austin Lane hosted his 2nd Annual Black Media Breakfast. The gathering was an opportunity for Lane to share some of the school’s future priorities and upcoming programs. The importance of the historic relationship between HBCUs and the Black Press was also shared. Attendees included Melinda Spaulding Chevalier, Defender editor ReShonda Tate Billingsley, Ralph Cooper, D-Mars, Doris Ellis, Jo-Carolyn Goode, Priscilla Graham, Paige Hubbard, Nicole Tall, Kordell Tilley, Todd Rogers, Vicky Pink and others.
