YWCA Houston recently hosted its 2019 Outstanding Women’s Luncheon, a charitable event that helped the organization further its mission while celebrating the accomplishments of 10 outstanding women whose professional accomplishments and community contributions have enhanced the quality of life for all of us. One of the honorees was Defender CEO Sonceria Messiah Jiles, recipient of the Dorothy Height Award. Luncheon attendees included Dr. Janice Beal, Jacqueline Bostic McElroy, Pastor Juanita Rasmus, Melvinie Davis, Carlecia Wright, Gina Gaston, Damali Hill, Nicole Cox, Jaqueline Miles, Stacey Frank, Jerelyn Gooden and many others.
