Just when you thought the drama between Sherri Shepherd and her ex husbands had died down, one or both of them pops up with some legalized request to make her life a little bit more hectic.

This time, the drama comes from her first husband of nine years, Jeff Tarpley. According to WENN, the former couple, who have been in court on more than one occasion, are revisiting their custody agreement for their 12-year-old son Jeffrey. In 2011, Shepherd was awarded primary custody of their and moved him to New York so she could co-host “The View.”

But Tarpley, who was given visitation rights, has filed documents asking for 50/50 custody since Shepherd has moved back to Los Angeles to start filming the new show “Trial and Error.”

Reportedly, Shepherd told him she will be filming in Canada for the next three months. In his legal documents, Tarpley says he doesn’t want his son to be cared for by nannies.

And, as you might assume, he’s also requesting more money. Now, he currently received $131 per month. He’s also requesting that she pay $10,000 in attorney fees because her income is significantly higher than his.

Shepherd has responded to the documents saying that she asked Tarpley to visit their son every other weekend and have one overnight stay each week. But the offer was ignored. She stated that Tarpley has never been responsible for their son’s day to day routine and that he doesn’t have the means to take care of him now as he doesn’t have a full time job.

A hearing to discuss the custody issue is set to take place today.
