Bush High School Theatre advances to State One-Act Play competition

The Bush High School Theatrical Ensemble advanced to the 91st State One-Act Play Contest, placing in the top 2 groups for Conference 6A regional competition. BHS not only advanced but also received the top honors for Advancing Play and Best Actress. In addition, the team was recognized in the following categories:

– All-Star Cast

– Honorable Mention All-Star Cast

– Outstanding Technician

The team will perform Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play Ruined on Friday, April 14 at the Round Rock ISD Performing Arts Center (5800 McNeil Drive, Austin, TX 78729). Tickets will only be available onsite; they are $12 for students and $14 for adults. The contest will begin at 4 p.m. and Bush will take the stage at 6:30 p.m.
